Clevedon Pier - A Celebration of England's Finest Pier is the first photography book by Bristol based landscape and architectural photographer Clive Minnitt .

This is the first book of the pier to be produced since 1995 and is a collection of fine art images, memories and anecdotes combining atmospheric contemporary photographs with a fascinating documentary of Clevedon Pier, its history and immediate environs.

Clive has drawn inspiration not only from the Pier’s Victorian character and elegance, but its place in history and restoration to present an iconic symbol of seaside life and architecture.

His photographs depict the unique geology of the surrounding beach with rocks and seaweed, the constant movement of the tide and majestic setting that affords views across to Wales and the North Somerset coast. The images capture its many visitors, the hardy swimmers, sailors, fishermen and romantic couples with humour and poignancy and the many moods evoked by the changing light and changing seasons.
