     "Surviving Changi - A Memoir" by Peter Gordon Kendall. At the outbreak of war, Peter Kendall enlisted in the Indian Army, obtained an Emergency Commission and was posted to Malaya. At the fall of Singapore in 1942, he was taken prisoner and interned in Changi Gaol. Along with other Allied POWs, he was moved from camp to camp through Malaya into Siam, working on the infamous Burma-Siam railway under harrowing conditions.

"Surviving Changi" is his memoir.
