Pomegranate Books was founded in 2001 by John Adler, a former university lecturer and arts administrator.
In addition to publishing its own titles, Pomegranate produces commissioned books and provides publishers' services such as design, typography, editorial services, photo imaging and marketing etc.
Pomegranate has published books in the areas of poetry, the novel. photography, education, and the memoir. Among forthcoming titles are a new novel by award-winning novelist and playwright David Pownall and book about what happened to the pupils of Summerhill School (where since its foundation in 1928, no child has ever been required to attened a lesson) after they went out into the world.
