The Garret Press was formed in 2001 to publish and market a trilogy of books on the Somerset coast.

The books, written in a relaxed and conversational style, are brimful of beautiful watercolour paintings illustrating the coastline.

Rosie and Howard have walked, biked and sailed the coastline many times.

The books are packed with personal reminiscence, stories and local tales. Many people have helped along the way with their anecdotes and yarns.

The books are printed and bound in Cornwall on high quality Fyneblade Extra paper. With and interweaving text, Rosie's illustrations sit on the page as if freshly painted.

Recently the coast books have been joined by 'Steep Holm Diary': tales from Somerset's rocky outcrop in the Severn Sea.
