Karen
Bradford and Mark Hubbard, the people behind Green Pages, are great
believers that anybody can be a bit greener without sacrificing fun.
Karen
Bradford said: “The directory shows that green is a great
opportunity – not a lost cause.
On every page readers will find
information to help them connect with friendly, independent
businesses in their local communities.
By making it easy for people
to find what they need, we hope to show that going green isn’t just
good for the planet – it’s also good for the local economy.”
Their
backgrounds and interests have led them to produce Green Pages.
Karen
worked in London’s voluntary sector on many projects, such as
developing a national network of food re-distribution projects to
support homeless people.
Mark has worked in marketing and fundraising
for many charities, for example, the production of London-wide cycle
route maps.
Together, their experiences and enthusiasm have helped
them to develop the exciting new Bristol & Bath Green Pages.
