Akeman Press was established in Bath in 2003 to produce a range of high-quality local interest books. The first books were also written by the founders, Kirsten Elliott and Andrew Swift, but Somerset Follies, published in 2007, is by local author Jonathan Holt, and books by other authors are planned.
2007 saw the launch of a new series - Postcards from the Past – featuring aspects of local life a century or so ago.
